Addi's special day

Addi and I had a special mommy/daughter day earlier this month..we went ice skating! Addi was so excited and she did great. She started out using a walker and quickly gained enough confidence to try it without any help. BUT, that was much harder so she eventually went back to using the walker. Here is a few pictures...

Baby Peyton, I love you...

Since Peyton was a newborn I have this song I would sing to her when she was sick, upset etc. The song is our little miracle worker and has been pulled out at pretty much any time of need. Even Addison, Roger and Gramma have learned the importance of "Baby Peyton, I love you." We have recently caught her walking around the house singing the song to herself, to NaNa, to her babies and to pretty much anything she can hold. She finally let me get it on video. The beginning is me singing the song then she and Addison pick up from there. Brace yourself for my mommy voice...I apologize in advance :)

The rest of December

On December 12th I ran my first (and only) half marathon. I trained for about 3 months and about a week before I woke up feeling like crud. I nursed it all week thinking it would surely be gone by Sunday...by Friday I accepted defeat and headed to the Doctor. She basically told me I was crazy to run and only asking to get more sick. The thought of not running after the amount of blood and sweat I had put into training made me even more sick. So...I ran it, feeling like crap and coughing up nasties the entire time. My time was not nearly what I had hoped but I crossed the finish line! Another check off my bucket list :)

Christmas this year was much quiter than those in the past. Since we just got back from vacation, Tracey and the kids decided to stay in Loiusville. Plus, Jordan had this Christmas in California so it was just the 4 of us and Gramma and Granpa. The girls were VERY spoiled by Santa and the rest of us. Addison totally got the idea of Santa and it was so much fun to watch her excitement. I can't wait until both girls are this excited! Here are a few pictures of our Christmas...

Jordan was back for New Years so Roger of course was crazy on the Fireworks. I don't even want to know how much he spent this year. Jordan of course loved it, Addison sat in amazement and Peyton and I retreated to the garage with every single BOOM!
